Our story

Riverwick was founded in Calstock, Cornwall — a small riverside village resting quietly on the banks of the Tamar.

Created by Mikaela Tibbins, a mother of four and grandmother, Riverwick began as a desire to step into a new season of life with creativity, purpose, and enthusiasm. What started as a personal search for fulfilment became something far more meaningful.

Riverwick candles are crafted to capture memory — the soft echo of laughter in a warm kitchen, the hush of early evening light, that fleeting, almost tangible ache of nostalgia when a scent carries you somewhere you once loved.

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using a premium soy and coconut wax blend, chosen for its clean burn and beautiful fragrance throw. We pair this with complex, high-quality fragrance oils that unfold gently and evolve as they warm.

Months are spent testing every scent for balance, performance, and atmosphere. Because true luxury lies in the details.
